After retiring Mark 1, I went on to make Mark 2—smaller, cuter, and a bit more refined. 🦾☕
Which Iron Man suit I based it on? Honestly, I can’t remember. I spent hours hunting for clips of Iron Man’s boot online… and it was nearly impossible to find! I guess the boot is not very interesting to most people. 😅 But me? I love the whole suit—the armor, the details, the tiny gadgets… and yes, even the boot. I like to look at it from all angles.
In the end, I had to piece together references from images of many action figures rather than movie clips. Turns out, they don’t really show the boot either!
Even with the challenge, it was a fun adventure in design and creativity—sometimes the hardest references inspire the most unique results.
