Inspired by images of dragon scales—probably from a fantasy movie—I created a pair of large mugs featuring a scale pattern and a rustic, handmade feel.
I made the scales pointy to distinguish them from those of fish and snakes. If I were to make them again, I’d try larger scales with a slightly different overlapping pattern.
