Lately, I’ve been craving something… heavier. Something moody. I wanted to capture that exact, luscious shade of a deep red wine—that perfect Raspberry that looks like it has a hundred stories to tell.
These mugs are exactly what I wanted. It’s not just “red”—it’s deep.
The bowl was a bit more of a “let’s see what happens” experiment. I went heavier with the blue tones underneath the red here, and the result is so cool. You can see these moody, almost teal streaks where the glaze flowed down the sides.
The contrast between that dark, wine-soaked and the shifting, stormy colors on is just a bit unpredictable, a bit wild, and exactly why I love working with clay.
