I wanted to create something tall and substantial—the kind of piece that actually invites you to hold it. After making my handle-less Mazinger Z tumbler, I really wanted to shift the focus this time.
That handle is the heart of the piece for me. I carved those organic ridges so your fingers naturally find their place. And that little “button” thumb rest at the top? I like to think of it as a tiny canvas for your favorite icon to greet you during your morning coffee. (LOL, I can’t help adding a bit of pop culture thinking!)

Glaze-wise, I’m back in my happy place with these blues. I love the way the deep cobalt at the base works its way up into that misty, speckled cerulean. It feels just like an incoming tide.
It’s a bit rugged, a bit refined, and definitely made for those long, slow sipping moments
